The Alea wig from Gisela Mayer€™s Next Generation collection is a super stylish, shoulder-length style with a flattering side-swept fringe.
The fringe measures 25cm and will naturally fall to the right. The crown layers measure about 30cm and the nape is 25cm. The overall length from the central crown area to the back tips is 46cm which is a lovely length to create a flattering silhouette.
The main body of the cap has been made up of wefts. Wefts are slim strips of material which work well, in that they provide ventilation for your head. There is a left monofilament parting, which cleverly creates the illusion that the hair is coming from your own skin in this particular area. The parting is then supported by material which is covered in a flower-patterned material. This patterned material helps to maintain some lift at the crown, rather than the fibre drooping. The left parting then effortlessly blends into a Lace part. A perfect feature which eliminates any wig edge from showing, as you part the side-swept fringe away from your forehead.
Gisela Mayer has classed this as an Averaged size cap, but there is always about an inch give at the nape. There are Velcro adjusters so that you can tighten and slacken the circumference should you need to.
