Ashton Hair & Beauty Returns Policy
At Ashton Hair & Beauty, we want you to be completely satisfied with your wig purchase. If you have any concerns or issues with your order, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll do our best to assist you.

1. Returns
1.1 Eligibility: We accept returns on wigs that are unused, unworn, and in their original condition with all packaging and tags attached. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for wigs that have been tried on, styled, or altered in any way.

1.2 Right to Cancel: If you have changed your mind about your purchase, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided it remains in its original, unworn condition.

1.3 How to Initiate a Return: To start the return process, please contact our customer service team via our website chat function or email us at contact@ashtonhairandbeauty.com with your order number and reason for return.

​1.4 Non-Refundable Deposit:
A £20 non-refundable deposit is taken on all purchases and included in the price shown at checkout. This deposit will not be refunded, even if the item is returned.

2. Refunds
2.1 Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

2.2 Processing Time: Once we receive the returned item, please allow 7-10 working days for your refund to be processed.

2.3 Deposit Deduction:
If you return an eligible item for a refund, the £20 deposit will be deducted from the refund amount.

3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:

Wigs that have been worn, styled, or altered

Wigs returned without their original packaging and tags

Products explicitly marked as non-returnable in their description or in the "IMPORTANT" tab on the product page (e.g., Jon Renau wigs, as per the manufacturer’s policy)

Haircare products, brushes, and accessories that have been opened or used for hygiene reasons
Important: If the item is faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose, you are still entitled to a refund or replacement under UK consumer law.

4. Delivery & Return Shipping

4.1 Customer-Arranged Delivery & Returns

Ashton Hair & Beauty does not offer a shipping service for orders or returns. Customers are responsible for arranging their own courier for both order collection and return shipping, at their own cost.

4.2 Responsibility for Damage or Loss
​
Since all deliveries and returns are arranged by the customer, Ashton Hair & Beauty is not liable for any loss or damage that occurs during transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service to ensure your order or return is delivered safely.

5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a refund or replacement.

6. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protects you if an item is faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose.
